  1. The end of August and we are back at Shakey for another MSA event, with a new set of gears installed but still launching in second gear. A couple of good runs from Sarah on the Saturday and a new PB of 157mph. Sunday morning we managed the 4th qualifier @153.49mph, and then the rain came, by 2.00pm and no let up the officials called it a day. Monday morning dawned and due to heavy rain overnight and no sign of it easing the meet was cancelled late morning.

  2. A week later and we are back at Shakey, after the excitement and achievements of the previous weekend this didn’t prove to be quite as successful. We still managed to achieve 3 runs on both the Saturday and Sunday but with times in the mid 9’s and mid 140’s it felt a bit of a let-down. On the plus side another brilliant weekend and no breakages. Unfortunately, because Steve’s motto is if it’s not broken play with it until it is, it’s been decided that the gear ratio needs changing.
